„Feuer in der Nachbarschaft“ was released in 2013 and has not been available for about six years. The 12″ is now being reissued in a small edition as a 180gr. LP with poster insert re-pressed.
„Das Hochzeitsgeschenk“ and „Leichen zu Coktails““ are among the slightly older treasures – „A great evening!“ recalls Marten and Yes!, Survival can sound so good and haunting that you want to hang on. Right after that we land into „Süßafrika“, an instrumental excursion and at one point a rather somber number. But then Thomas‘ flute teacher Mila Morgenstern came in good-humoredly with his flute into the game and doom became ethnic rock in a flash. Mila, beyond any musical doubt, may forgive us: flute on a punk rock label cost us some effort. But Ninamarie’s sovereign „A must“ allowed no hesitation. Finally, let’s strip almost pixieesque earth rock with synthesizer, because „Der Ortsoberste“ drives us downright before him, faster and faster, until we still quickly catch our breath in „33 Runden“. Thanks to Masha Qrella, as charming as she accompanies the young man with her vocals through all the rounds. We feel reminded of Velvet Underground in the best way.
