Mait­land – Fal­ling Into Place LP

A look at the musi­cal past of the mem­bers of Mait­land reve­als, on the one hand, hardcore/noise bands like Len­tic Waters, Die Nega­ti­on, Thurm, and Wire Love, and on the other hand, acts from the indie/electronica sce­ne such as Rac­quets and Jazzwang Zoo. Tog­e­ther, the five musi­ci­ans from Müns­ter are for­ging new paths and dedi­ca­ting them­sel­ves to an indie sound that is some­ti­mes dri­ving, some­ti­mes pop­py, and some­ti­mes dark. In the spi­rit of their DIY past, Mait­land recor­ded their album „Fal­ling into Place“ lar­ge­ly on their own.
»Fal­ling into Place« con­sists of 9 songs that reflect the mul­ti­face­ted natu­re of Maitland’s sound. Danceable upt­em­po num­bers, melan­cho­lic pop songs, and post-rock-inspi­red, atmo­sphe­ric songs are shaped into a har­mo­nious who­le by the distinc­ti­ve vocals and cap­ti­vat­ing melodies.
