DUESENJAEGER represent understatement in its purest state. They are a four-piece originating from Osnabrück/Germany and play punkrock with 2 guitars, German lyrics. Their debut ??Las palmas ok? (2004) was about longing to be far away and about feeling the need to leave. The new long-player ??Schimmern? describes the musical and thematic development of the band and is about letting go, about having stayed, about defiance and about getting older and being able to laugh at oneself. The impetuous rage that has always been there has grown tighter, the music has become more melodic and more rock. All in all it is as simple as a kick in the ass: 13 tight songs between melancholy and euphoria that will urge the audience to reach out a raised forefinger and sing along. Intelligent punkrock does not have to come from Hamburg!!
